Motorcycling is more than riding from one point to another. It is about community, empowerment, and experiences that create lasting bonds.
Few people embody that spirit better than Gevin Fax, and later this month, she is inviting riders and enthusiasts to Pine Mountain Club, California, for a one-of-a-kind event: On the Mountain with Gevin Fax.
Set against the backdrop of the Los Padres National Forest, this three-day gathering offers a blend of music, riding, connection, and celebration of women in motorsports.
But don’t think this is just for women; everyone is invited. The only exception is the women’s only camping area, but there are loads of other camping areas available nearby!
Also, this year, Ride to the Warehouse, which celebrates the female motorcycle riding community while raising funds and awareness for women's health issues, will be there all three days!
The event runs from September 26–28, 2025, and brings together riders of all kinds for an immersive weekend.
Music and Entertainment
Music has always been central to Gevin Fax’s life. Fittingly, the event features live performances by the Gevin Fax Band with Rhonda Ray opening the show. In addition to the main stage, attendees can enjoy performances from other bands playing at bars and grills throughout the Pine Mountain Club area.
A highlight of the weekend is the screening of the Discovery Channel’s Biker Women documentary, which features Gevin herself. The screening will be followed by a Q&A session, giving attendees the chance to engage directly with her story.
Scenic Riding Opportunities
Riders can join group rides through scenic backroads and mountain passes, designed specifically for road bikes.
Off-road enthusiasts will have plenty of options too, with trails for dirt bikes, side-by-sides, and 4x4s. Even mountain bikers will find challenging terrain and rewarding views.
Women’s-Only Camping Experience
At the heart of the event is the exclusive women’s-only campground at Pine Mountain Club Resort. This private space offers:
-
Tent camping under a canopy of pine trees
-
Flushing toilets and hot showers
-
A community atmosphere designed for connection and conversation
The campground serves as a hub for participants to relax, network, and build friendships while enjoying the full weekend itinerary.
Also, Wet Clutch Moto Coffee will be at the campground throughout the weekend with coffee, juice, and light breakfast items.
Cultural and Wellness Activities
Beyond riding and music, the weekend integrates cultural and wellness experiences. Highlights include:
-
African drumming sessions
-
Sound bath therapy
-
Yoga classes
These activities are designed to balance the intensity of riding with opportunities for reflection and renewal.
Parade and Community Connection
One of the most anticipated moments will be the women’s motorcycle parade through downtown Pine Mountain Club. Riders will line up for a powerful display of visibility and unity, celebrating women who thrive in motorsports. The event also includes a raffle with prizes provided by event sponsors.
For those looking to enjoy the nightlife, there will be a pub crawl celebrating women in motorsports. While the campground is women-only, the broader event is inclusive. Everyone is welcome to join activities in town.
Art and Inspiration
In collaboration with Ride to the Warehouse, attendees will be able to experience a stunning art installation of wall-sized portraits of women motorcyclists. This immersive exhibit honors the diversity, resilience, and creativity of female riders across generations.
