As we turn the pages of motorcycle history, it's rare to come across a machine that not only redefines the boundaries of design but also captures the imagination of the global riding community.
Enter the Diavel V4, Ducati's muscle cruiser that's become a talking point across continents for its unparalleled design and performance in 2023.
Fresh off the design podium, the Diavel V4, a top Twisted Road Ducati rental, boasts an impressive collection of accolades, including the Good Design® Award, given by the “Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design,” and the Special Mention in the Excellent Product Design at the German Design Awards 2024.
The Good Design® Award, initiated in 1950 in Chicago by Eero Saarinen and Charles and Ray Eames, is the oldest and most prestigious design award globally. The 2023 edition saw the jury evaluating over 1,100 entries from more than 55 countries.
Meanwhile, the German Design Awards, granted biennially by the German Design Council, are esteemed recognitions in design sponsored by the German Ministry of Economics and Technology and bestowed by the Rat für Formgebung.
The Diavel's journey to global recognition saw it light up the stages of Diavel Design Nights in Amsterdam, Paris, Brussels, London, New York, and Shanghai, each city echoing with applause for its beauty and design prowess.
These accolades, without a doubt, helped the Diavel earn the “Most Beautiful Motorcycle” at EICMA 2022, an award that is hard-earned due to competition from other beautiful bikes such as the Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello S, Triumph Street Triple 765 R, and Suzuki GSX-8S.
The Diavel V4 took first place with 36.8 percent of the votes out of the approximately 23,000 fans, including visitors to the Fair and users of the Motociclismo website, who expressed their favorite.
Beyond its stunning looks, the Diavel V4 has been a favorite in the press and among riders for its dynamic performance. During 2023, the Diavel V4 was elected “Cruiser of the Year” at the 2023 MCN Awards, “Best Naked Motorcycle of the Year” for the US website Motorcycle.com, “Best Cruiser” in the Swiss Töff Awards, and “Best Power Cruiser” from the Philippine publication C! Magazine.
But Ducati didn't stop there. In a bold move, they joined forces with Bentley to create the Diavel for Bentley, a limited edition series that merges the best of automotive luxury with high-performance motorcycling.
Ducati's collaboration with Bentley in the Diavel for Bentley is a crossover that car and bike enthusiasts could only dream of. Unveiled at Art Basel week in Miami Beach, this limited edition marries the Batur's avant-garde styling with the Diavel V4's high-performance backbone, creating an epitome of luxury on two wheels. Limited to 500 units, with an ultra-exclusive 50 units under the Diavel for Bentley Mulliner banner, this bike isn't just a ride; it's a collector's dream.
The Diavel V4 by Ducati is not just a machine. It's a bold declaration of what happens when art meets adrenaline and passion meets precision. It's Ducati's way of showing the world that the future of motorcycling isn't just about speed; it's about making every ride an experience that etches itself into the soul.
