The Hawk is a fun, head turning bike. You wont see another one like it on the road with you. The Honda Hawk GT was only sold here in America for a short time. (1988-1992). If you are looking for a top speed monster, well frankly this is the wrong bike for you. It's a great bike to buzz around city streets and back country roads. I personally hop on the bike to take the back roads to work or take my wife out to dinner. I have owned The Hawk for over a year now. I acquired the bike from an older collector who couldn't get the bike to run. He made me a deal I couldn't refuse: if I could get the bike to run and promise not to sell it, he would sign the title over to me. With that being said the bike has had the tank cleaned and relined, good Bridgestone tires, new brake pads, rebuilt master cylinder and brake calipers, new coolant, fresh Amsoil, rebuilt carbs, Yuasa battery and a new coil. All Honda OEM Honda parts where used if still available. She runs like a dream. Modifications are very minimal on The Hawk and include a tank bag (really to hide the poor quality of the wrap on the tank), front steel braided lines, LED head light, Heli bars, and a sweet wrap to imitate an RC30.
