This bike is a well-sorted survivor; it is *not* a beauty queen. It was a road-going ripper in its early years, then converted to a race bike and abused, then sat neglected for years. But then I found it and brought it back to its former glory. This fall it got new tires, brakes and brake lines, plus a front end refresh (forks rebuilt and steering head bearings replaced), so it stops on a dime. Carbs cleaned out, new spark plugs, battery and chain, new bulbs throughout (including LEDs in the instruments, so you can see the darn things at night), a little windshield, and more. Now, it's a blast -- safe and spunky! Cute, easy to handle, plenty fast enough for highway cruising, but really enjoys spirited rides in the twisties. Works well for newer riders and those of smaller stature, and it's already scratched up and dented a bit here and there, so you don't need to be precious about it. I honestly don't mind (as long as you're safe and careful, for your own good).
