2001 Honda F 6 C Valkyrie

Erial, NJ

Bike Description
Cruiser

This bike is a Honda Valkyrie, essentially the cruiser version of the Honda Goldwing. This might as well be a car because the engine on this is a massive 1520cc and it sounds like a stock car. Straight pipe, this thing is LOUD and lots of fun. She really is a gentle giant, once she starts rolling, she greets you with comfort and shows her forgiving nature. Pretty much a Lazyboy for the open road. Great for long trips or short trips around town. Don’t let that fool you, when you open her up and let the RPM’s climb, the Valkyrie comes to life and screams out like a track day car. It sounds like a straight pipe Porsche or maybe an older F1 car. Wild experience for sure. She settles right down though when you need her to. Such a nice alternative to the very populated v-twin cruiser world, this has the displacement as such but with such a huge amount of low-end torque and buttery-smooth pull out of the low revs. You get on the throttle and she beckons you on, very coaxing machine. She wants you to peg the throttle out and slam the gears out. 5-speed short gears makes for a lot of fun and engaging riding. Always gets heads turning and questions of “what the hell is that thing?” The Honda Valkyrie, One of my favorite bikes I’ve ever riden.
