Meet my 2008 Kawasaki Versys 650 — a lightweight sport-touring bike that really comes alive on twisty roads. If you’re the kind of rider who enjoys carving corners and taking the long way home, this is where the Versys shines. It’s quick, nimble, and has a more playful, responsive feel than most adventure bikes, without sacrificing comfort. The upright riding position keeps things relaxed, but the chassis and engine give it a surprisingly sporty character. It’s the kind of bike that’s just as happy cruising as it is flicking through a set of curves. Great for: Backroads and twisty routes in MN/WI Riders who want something more engaging and fun than a typical ADV bike Day trips where the ride itself is the goal Anyone who prefers a lighter, more responsive bike The 649cc parallel twin is smooth and torquey, with plenty of usable power and great fuel economy (typically 45–55 mpg), so you’re looking at an easy 200+ mile range. Recent maintenance (ready to ride): Brakes replaced and serviced (Spring 2025) Fresh Michelin Anakee Adventure tires New chain and sprockets (Spring 2025) Available add-ons if you want to set it up your way: RAM phone mount with on-board charging Givi side cases 37L Givi top case If you want a bike that feels light, responsive, and genuinely fun on the kind of roads you actually enjoy riding, this Versys is a great fit. Rent it, enjoy it, and bring it back with a full tank and a good story. If you’d like to book, send me a quick note about your riding experience and feel free to ask any questions — happy to help.

Great bike, with all the right accessories. The bags are enough for a couple of days. The windshield is just enough to prevent buffeting, but still give some cooling. the bike is very flickable, but also stable. Power is good and smooth delivery. Did 500 miles over 2 full days and never felt tired. It is my new #1 in Minneapolis, please don't rent it so it is always available for me. :-)

I love renting from someone who knows bikes and is a great mechanic. The bikes I've rented from Keegan are always in top shape and ready to go. Super easy to work with, very responsive. went over and above to ensure the bike fit me well and he NAILED it. Can't wait to see what he adds to the stable next!
