Great tires stick to everything, ECU tune, quick shifter, full exhaust. Had the bike about a year. Chik-Fil-A coloring (unintentional, Red Z900 Anniversary Edition, Plasti-dipped some of the fairings white.)

I always wanted to ride a Z900 but never had the opportunity. I saw Gregory's Z900 and seized the opportunity. Setting up and meeting up with Gregory was very easy. He went through all of the functions with me etc since I was unfamiliar with the Kawasaki platform. The Z900 looks better in the images but she is still a beauty. It has a few scratches and the white wrap is peeling a bit showing the beautiful red paint that is underneath. I had to clean her up a bit to see the beauty of those red wheels later on. Gas tank was at half way. After all info was exchanged I was on my way. I love the way Gregory's Z900 shifts from 1st to 2nd gear. I love the quickshifter. Very aggressive and i love that. It gives the bike some emotion which makes the experience exilerating on 2 wheels. I would not recommend quickshifting while leaned over in corners. The bike suspension wise on twisty roads feels very planted. Really good suspension of which Gregory said was tuned for his weight. It was still good for me. Good ole Michelin Road 6 tires doing their mighty job. The riding position was also very comfortable. I got comfy within the first few miles and the seat is good as well. The overall experience was good but there were some issues to address. On my first initial ride. The bike's power delivery was good but felt unstable. It felt like a flat tire. When I inspected the tire there were no punctures. I pulled out my air pump to check the psi for the rear and it was at 17 psi. Low tire pressure is a hazard. On the side of the swingarm the factory recommended psi is 42 psi. That is way off. The front was no better at 15 psi. Factory recommended is 36 psi. I increased the rear to 38 front to 35 so when they're warm they would be close to the specifications. Warm rear was 40 front 36.5. Another issue was the chain. The chain's condition is bad. There is visible surface rust. It was really dry and the rollers would not roll which was another hazard. For peace of mind I used chain lube and that let the rollers move freely. The front brake feel is not that good. The front brake has an empty void where no pressure is applied to the brakes. There is no solid wall hit. The rear brake feels amazing. Rear brake is perfect and love the way it feels. Maybe something is wrong with the front brake lever or the fluid needs to be changed. Chain slack seemed off and the oil through the sight window seemed old too. Compared my sight window oil on my bike that I did a oil change 500+ miles ago. The z900 may be due for an oil change as it looked dark. After giving some TLC the ride was more stable and smooth after tire pressure fix and lubing the chain. The Z900's power delivery is so nice. It makes me want to get one or a Z1000. I would recommend a steering stabilizer because shifts higher up in the rpm in 1st to 3rd cause the front end to wobble a bit. The Z900 is a head turner as it's not a bike you see often and it has people curious. They just keep asking "what is that" or "is that a yamaha" lol. People love the red wheels and i love them too. I put a fellow MT09 owner to shame with this Z900. A lot more power than expected. The Z900 feels heavy from a stop but at speed it is just as flickable as a MT09 which surprised me. Very fun and agile bike after addressing some issues. The gas consumption is going to depend on your right hand. The mpg was better than I thought as well. I believe it would be better with a oil and oil filter change. My experience on Gregory's Z900 makes me want one. I looked forward to the 2025 Z900 SE that will be coming out after experiencing this generation. Thank you Gregory for letting me ride your Z900.

Very fast and fun to ride. Greg is a great guy and was very nice to rent from. I requested to rent late at night and he had bike gas and clean waiting for me to pick up. Great experience and will be using this again.
